We Support Our Troops

Our troops, serving abroad or here at home are a pillar of our freedom. They are men and women who will put themselves in harm’s way to protect us and our rights as Canadians; for that reason I will always support our troops.

Many have made the ultimate sacrifice, and many more sacrifice a little every day by being separated from their homes and families. This includes those deployed to hostile environments oversees but also those separated from family members while serving here at home.

This is why Meal Kit Supply Canada donates product to help support sports and athletics for Canadian forces members. In addition, Meal Kit Supply also donates a portion of proceeds from the sales of the Solder Fuel Energy bars directly to the Canadian Military Families Fund. The Military Families Fund was created in April 2007 by General Rick Hillier, the former Chief of Defence Staff to assist military families faced with unforeseen and often immediate needs that have resulted due to conditions of service. Last year we raised over $ 3,000. We hope to raise even more this year.

I urge all Canadian citizens to take part in supporting our troops, whether that be by purchasing merchandise from CANEX or making a donation to one of the programs to be found here, or simply taking the opportunity to let those serving how much you appreciate them.
